Since its launch in 2005, Sound Bay Recording Studio has produced critically acclaimed works in festivals and exhibitions across Asia, Europe and North America, partnering with local and international musicians of varied styles and genres. Headed by Jethro Joaquin, a multi-awarded sound designer in both theatre and film, it has collaborated with some of the Philippines’ most recognized artistic institutions.

A theater sound designer, educator and business proprietor, Jethro Joaquin has been involved in productions ranging from theater, concerts and dances to television, multimedia and independent film projects

He was recently awarded the 2009 Digital Movie Sound Engineer of the Year award for Concerto at the 25th PMPC Star Awards for Movies.
